Your model is fantastic, but the photo is good.

Coming from a non-professional my critic does not go beyond an opinion of one person, to be discarded if you feel like it.

A few things to notice:

The background is incomplete – the wall does not cover the whole space and is not monotonous, so it does not work as the girl against a crude wall theme, one often sees in magazines. It gives no volume, no light, no texture, and screams for replacement.

At this point the reader needs to brace himself as writing anything with a tint of grey about Ksu is a major crime.

Here Ksu parades a bit assets first – models tend to discharge the picture by tilting shoulders, raising one arm and myriads of other little tricks, which ultimately make them … models. In all honesty, the picture should have taken her up to waist, otherwise her braid is cropped – the viewer remains tormented where it ends.

Your comment to the portrait is ironic. Truly, anyone would be hard pressed to make Ksu’s shot more interesting, but there are ways to make it better as a photograph.
